Soap and Glory Orangeasm Body Wash Review

I’ve mentioned previously on here that I can be hit and miss with some of the Soap and Glory products and I have to be honest I do get bored of their scents pretty quickly, there’s nothing wrong with them only that I can be quite fickle with shower products. Rachel let me finish this one as she has a whole army of bath and shower products to work through (seriously guys she’s seriously obsessed) so I thought I’d give it a whirl and let you guys know what I think.

This body wash comes in a huge 500ml bottle which is only priced at £6.50 which is a steal. With this scent it is heavily orange scented so you must be a fan of citrus scents and oranges to be able to use this otherwise I’d recommend steering clear. The packaging is pretty funky I like the colour clash of orange and pink and the pump is really practical.

As you might imagine the scent of this is a very strong sweet orange scent with a zingy undertone. The product blends fresh green mandarin, Sicilian lemon and sweet orange peel oils for a revitalising scent. The product also claims to be excellent for the skin as stated on the Boots website:

Our zesty-fresh and revitalising ORANGEASM™ Body Wash is scented with fresh green mandarin, Sicilian lemon and sweet orange peel oils. With skin softening, moisture boosting properties and our exclusive MSUDS™ technology, TRIPLE TEA™ antioxidant complex, GINSENG and PINKPEPPERBERRY™, there’s really nothing quite like it!”

I do like the scent of this but I got bored pretty quickly (see above I did say I can be fickle), I have the matching fragrance that I’ve had for just over a year now and surprise surprise I haven’t used that in a while either.

I do think this is a nice product but in all honesty it’s not the most moisturising product I’ve ever used, the texture was a lot runnier than I expected and I thought it would be much creamier, also when sharing a shower with my boyfriend the scent is that strong that it does irritate his asthma a little.

Overall this isn’t bad, it’s a nice product with a cult following but it’s nothing too special to me. I don’t think I’d repurchase as I find Nivea shower products (their shower creams) to be much nicer.

The Soap and Glory Orangeasm Body Wash is available here for £6.50.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and if you did please hit the like button, let me know in the comments if you have tried this and what your favourite shower products are. Feel free to follow me if you’re not already 🙂
