Sparkly Beauty for NYE

New Years Eve is right around the corner and in beauty terms that means glitter liner, sparkly nails and if you’re feeling brave, a shimmer mist. I’m not a huge glitter wearer myself but at this time of the year I’m fond of a touch of glitter. Today, I thought I’d share with you some sparkly beauty products so that you can enter 2018 in a whirl of glitter!

Body Shop Glazed Apple Shimmer Mist £12.00 (Body Shop)
The Body Shop Shimmer Mists are a great way to smell delicious as well as add a bit of sparkle. The shimmer in this is fine so it’s not like chunky body glitter but makes a nice alternative to jewellery. I have the Glazed Apple version which is not sold at the moment but this year you cans nap up the Vanilla Chai or Frosted Berries scents.

Makeup Revolution Out of This World Merged Eyeshadow in Limitless £1.50 (Tam Beauty)
Less than two pounds and this eyeshadow is a serious contender for the likes of Urban Decay in terms of pigmentation. This is a gorgeous bronze/gold shade that has a metallic/shimmer finish it’s literally stunning. The quality of this is fab and great for those who are on a budget and love a gold lid.

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter in Pink Shimmer £3.00 (Superdrug)
Offering a pearly pink iridescent glow this budget highlighter is too good to be missed. This shade is absolutely stunning and contains enough shimmer to be detectable but not so much it looks like a glitter ball. There’s a wide array of shades from peaches to golds to even aquas, greys and blues so there’s no excuse not to own one especially at such a bargainous price.

No7 Instant Radiance Highlighting Stick £10.00 (Boots)
A fantastic cream highlighter for those who wants to enter 2018 with a golden glow. This is super easy to use and has a wondrously creamy formula. There is an absolute minute amount of shimmer but not the kind that is detectable on the cheekbones. This is a lovely highlighter and flattering for most skintones.

Rimmel London Precious Stones Nail Polish in Diamond Dust £3.99 (Boots)
If you have an aversion to glitter like me, then a nice way to wear it without being to OTT is in a nail polish. I’ve not tried wearing this alone yet but over black nail polish it’s a beautiful rainbow glitter that looks stunning and very festive!

Sleek Blusher in Rose Gold £4.99 (Boots)
One that I haven’t spoken about in a while and really should use more is the Sleek Blusher in Rose Gold. It’s a stunning peach shade that lifts and sculpts the face and the gold shimmer running through it gives it that magical sparkle. Definitely worth a try!

Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Palette
Sadly this was limited edition so if you don’t have it then you won’t be able to get hold of it.; But, if you do have it then I highly recommend enjoying some of the shades. The greens are very festive whilst the jewel tones are great for this time of year. For added sparkly try applying the lilac glitter (Dream on) over the top of Lily to get a duo-chrome look with added sparkle!

Urban Decay Naked Palette £39.50 (Urban Decay)
A classic and for good reason. Yes this has some lovely mattes but it’s the golden shimmers that are going to make your eyes pop this year. Shades like Half Baked and Smog are great for adding depth, brightening the eyes and allowing your lids to look lit. Yes I really did just say that.

That concludes this post, if you enjoyed it please hit the like button and let me know in the comments what shimmery and glitter products you’ll be using this year!

Thanks for reading.
