La Roche Posay Toleraine Yeux Ultra Eye Contour Review

I’m a huge fan of La Roche Posay skincare, in the past I’ve used their Effaclar Duo, Effaclar Unifiant, Serozinc, Redermic and Toleraine Fluid and I’ve loved each and every product. I’m not sure what it is about La Roche Posay but every product seems to just work for me. Their Toleraine Fluid in particular is a lifesaver when my skin is irritated and generally a mess, it soothes and calms as well as hydrating so I was excited to try the treatment for the eyes, here’s my thoughts.

I have a one use sample here which is packaged in this nice little box however, the full size of this comes in packaging with a pump making it easy to dispense the right amount. This retails for £15.00 for 20ml so I consider La Roche Posay to be mid-range in price.

La Roche Posay describe the Toleraine Ultra Contour Yeux as the following:
Intensely hydrates and soothes. Day after day skin feeling soothed and long-lasting comfort is restored. Non-oily, fresh fluid texture. Penetrates instantly.

I can suffer from quite tired eyes that do get puffy so I was pleased to come across this. An additional bonus is the ingredients, La Roche Posay do not use parabens, fragrance, alcohol, colourant or lanolin in this product which I think is important as the eye area is very delicate.

The texture of this is a cool white cream that feels slightly cooling on the skin, if you do get this into the eyes it does sting a bit which is a bit of a shame however, it’s not the sort of sting that will make your eyes water for hours so that’s a bonus that it’s quite gentle.

Mainly I get dark circles under my eyes and when I’m very tired my eyes can get that gritty feeling which can also leave them puffy. When I applied this I noticed that it did add a small amount of radiance, more importantly it felt hydrating on the eyes like I was giving them a drink.

My eyes are not super puffy so it was hard to tell a massive difference however, they did feel much brighter and more hydrated, and what puffiness I did have appeared to be reduced. Personally, I don’t think that this is an absolutely essential product for me but if you struggle to sleep or if you have been doing a lot of all-nighters recently then this may be good for reducing the inflammation of the under eye area.

Overall, this didn’t blow me away but I know I’m not the ideal customer for this one, what this did achieve on me thought was quite nice and I do feel that my eyes benefited from using this so I would recommend it. IO have quite sensitive eyes that water very easily and can sometimes get sore, I also have sensitive skin and I’m pleased to report that this didn’t sting, irritate or burn my undereye area (which has happened in the past with certain products!).

The La Roche Posay Toleraine Ultra Eye Contour is available here for £15.00.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and if you did please hit the like button, let me know if you have tried this before or if you’re a fan of La Roche Posay products.
