Collective Beauty Haul

Despite being such a fan of beauty products I don’t typically spend a lot of money on myself (even though it may seem that way) often I’m given products as Christmas and Birthday presents and occasionally I’ll have a blowout shopping spree. Lately I’ve been doing better financially and over the past few months I’ve bought a fair few things (plus the other half treated me) so I thought it would be fun to do a haul, I hope that you like it!

Disclaimer: I know it’s pretty obvious and you guys know the drill by now but I’m not in any way bragging with this post I simply love beauty.

I’m going to start with the products that I’ve repurchased, some of these I use on a regular basis and others I’ve used in the past and loved so I fancied using them again. I use dry shampoo a lot and I wanted to try Colab but it was out of stock so I ended up picking up another two cans of the Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo this does work and  it’s budget friendly but the white cast on this is crazy! Speaking of hair, I also picked up another Head and Shoulders Classic Shampoo – nothing exciting but it cleans my hair and prevents my scalp from getting dry. For bath and body I picked up the Radox Shower Cream in Berry Burst I really rate these shower creams they smell great, moisturise the skin and they’re affordable what’s not to love? A couple of staple products in my routine are the Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation which is my holy grail and the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which I always end up going back to. I ran out of eye cream and eye primer so I also decided to pick up the Superdrug Vitamin E Eye Cream which is super budget friendly and adds radiance to my dark circles, I also got the MUA Eye Primer another cheap and cheerful product that does the trick.

Moving back to hair and I picked up the Tangle Teezer Original I haven’t bought a new hairbrush in years and this has such a hype surrounding it so I really wanted to give it a try. I also picked up the Remington Ceramic Straightener 230 these are quite cheap at £20 so they’re nothing ground-breaking but I thought that my old ones were making my hair greasy so I thought that I’d give these a try.

I got a few samples given to me from Estee Lauder when I bought the Doublewear Foundation one of which is the Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Foam Cleanser/Mask I’ve not tried this before but I’m not the biggest fan of Estee Lauder skincare so we’ll see on this one. Another product that I wanted to try was the Superdrug Vitamin E Toning Mist as I love the eye cream so much. This is actually lovely lightweight, it smells great and it feels like a drink for the skin I’m a convert! I wasn’t sure whether to include this as this was sent to me as a PR sample but I also got the What Skin Needs Hydrating Facial Serum I’ve not tried this brand before but this is a really nice product and it does the job so I like it!

I managed to stay quite restrained with eye makeup and I only picked up one item which is the Rimmel London Exaggerate Liquid Liner. I’m not confident with my eyeliner skills I find that pens dry up too quickly and whilst I like gel liners again they dry up so I figured it was about time I mastered liquid liner so I thought this would be good to try.

Sadly I wasn’t so restrained with face products although I didn’t pay for them all. I visited my Nan in Barsnley and she’s bought the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer and found that it didn’t really do much for her so she kindly passed it along to me. I also got a sample of the Estee Lauder The Smoother Primer again when I bought the Doublewear Foundation. Onto the products that I did buy, I needed a new face primer (I got this before getting the others) so I bought the L’oreal Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer I’m yet to try this but I’ll keep you posted! I’ve also drooled over the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette but kept telling myself I didn’t need another highlighter, I couldn’t resist any longer though so ended up getting it. Like many others, I was excited to see a new Benefit launch in the form of the Galifornia Blusher so I swatched it in store and ended up getting it, it is as stunning as it looks online plus it smells like fruit and suncream!

For lips I bought two products both liquid lipsticks as I’ve been wanted to try some more of these from different brands. I finally got my hands on the Sleek Matte Me in Birthday Suit which I’ve wanted for ages! I got the last one in the store and I’m so glad! I also really wanted to try the new Barry M Liquid Lipsticks so I got the Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit in Runway which I can’t wait to use!

I wear nail polish on a daily basis so I had an urge to buy some new shades, Rimmel London had an offer on with three polishes for £10 so I ended up getting three. Caramel Cupcake is a nude shade with a subtle shimmer that looks great for daywear. Green With Envy is a gorgeous green-hued turquoise shade that I’ve had my eye on for a while and Pillow Talk is a lovely pastel blue with a light shimmer which is perfect for spring. I also picked up the Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Acai Smoothie after seeing it on Instagram, I don’t typically reach for pinks but this is super pretty.

Bath and Body
Onto bath and body and it has been forever since I lasted visited Lush so I was excited to get some permanent products that I’m yet to try and of course to look at the Easter range. The first thing I spotted was the Lush Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bar this is such a cute concept and I just couldn’t resist! I’ve also wanted to try the Lush Avobath and the Lush Dragon’s Egg bath bombs so I was excited to see those in store and both smell really nice from first impressions. Finally, Lush Milky Bath isn’t one that ever really stood out to me until I smelled it, it has a creamy sweet scent that I imagine being very relaxing plus I must admit I love the milk bottle design I still remember getting milk from our local farmers and collecting the new bottles from the front door in a morning!

That concludes this post, if you enjoyed it please hit the like button and let me know in the comments if you would like any reviews of these products in particular and if you have tried any of these products.

Lovely haul! I have the hydrating version of the Laura Mercier primer and really enjoy it. I’ve been using a tangle teezer for a few years and really enjoy it! It’s probably time for me to get a new one though lol. I hope you enjoy your haul 🙂

Awesome haul! It’s always great to see what people repurchase. 🙂
I like Head & Shoulder shampoo too – right now I’m using the green apple version. Smells great and makes my hair bouncy.
The LUSH stuff looks so good – that Dragon’s Egg looks fun!
    Enjoy your goodies!
