Eve Taylor Moisturising Solar Shield Review

So far I’ve had mixed experiences with the Eve Taylor brand as a whole and I have to admit (opening a can of worms right here) that I don’t typically use sunscreen on a day to day basis. This product did however intrigue me as I do use moisturiser, and surely if sunscreen is present in a moisturiser I’d be more likely to use it? Let’s find out.
I have the sample size of this product but typically this retails at £11.59 for 50ml of product which isn’t too expensive or cheap. This product claims to contain SPF25 which isn’t very high but would most likely be okay for me on a daily basis as it’s so cold in Britain!

The product description is as follows:
A nourishing base of Sunflower and Cocoa Butter with broad spectrum sunscreen provides protection from UVA and UVB rays to guard against premature ageing.

Usually whenever I use a product that contains sunscreen it tends to be runnier in texture so I was quite surprised to see that this was a thick white cream. In terms of scent this contains Sunflower and Cocoa Butter but it didn’t really have a scent which I was grateful for as I’m not a fan of the usual earthy scents that come with Eve Taylor products.

Sadly, this didn’t really work for me, although it wasn’t sticky it struggled to actually sink into my skin, I had to really work it in and even then it had a tendency to smear around  – something that seems to be quite common I’ve found with Eve Taylor products.

Would I repurchase? Probably not, there’s just nothing that really wows me with his product, if I do want sunscreen I really like the Clinique Daily Protective Base which colour corrects and contains sunscreen, this however, just didn’t do it for me.

The Eve Taylor Moisturising Solar Shield is available here for £11.59.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and if you did please hit the like button. Also I definitely need to start using sunscreen more so if you know of any base products containing sunscreen that I should be trying then please let me know in the comments! Also, don’t forget to follow if you’re not already for more honest reviews!
