Cleanser is a staple in my skincare routine, I think that it’s truly one of the most important things, both to remove makeup and to deep clean the skin. As you may imagine, I’ve tried a few myself and so I thought it would be fun to share four of my favourites that vary in price.
Steal: Boots Botanics Ultra Calm Gentle Cleansing Cream £2.50
I bought this when I ran out of cleanser, desperately needed a new cleanser but didn’t have a lot of money to spend and I have to say that this works really well. It’s a soothing cream based cleanser, I use this on my face and eyes then remove with a warm wet flannel and it does the job every time. It doesn’t irritate my skin and it doesn’t break the bank either!
Save: No7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Cleanser £8.00
I find No7 skincare to be very hit and miss but I love this cleanser. To me, this feels richer than the Botanics one mentioned above and it kind of reminds me of the Liz Earle but a little thinner and runnier in texture. This cleans my skin and leaves it feel very soft and gentle, again this doesn’t irritate and feels cooling and pleasant on the skin.
Spend: Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil £10.00
I really love this in the winter when my skin is drier and if you love cleansing oils then this is well worth a try. This is very hydrating and it feels very luxurious to the touch. The camomile works to relax the mind and calm the skin. This works to melt all makeup including waterproof makeup and it’s suitable for sensitive skin.
Available: The Body Shop
Splurge: Liz Earle Cleanse ad Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser £14.00
My holy grail cleanser I absolutely love this stuff! This does everything I could possibly ask from a cleanser, it soothes, it hydrates, it calms and it removes my makeup and cleanses my skin. This truly feels like a piece of luxury when I use this on my skin and is definitely worth the hype and the price.
Available: Boots, Feel Unique.
