Sweet Treats – The Sweet Beauty Edit

Sometimes I just need a little sweetness in my life, and when brands make the effort to create adorable looking products with adorable little names my day is that little bit brighter – especially when I use them! Today I thought I’d round up some sweet beauty treats that will give you that lift.
Collection Work the Colour Matt Lip Butter in Marshmallow Pink
This is such a lovely product and it’s very budget friendly. It’s a twist-up lip crayon with a beautiful wearable pink shade with a matte finish. I love the packaging, I love the finish and I love the colour, I’ll definitely be picking up more of these!

Etude House Lovely Cookie Blushers
These are seriously adorable, housed in this bubble shaped compact, inside is a lovely matte pink blusher with a cute little powder puff. I think these are incredibly cute and dinky and they come in a variety of shades. The blushers are buildable and have a decent payoff.

Maggie Anne Six Free Gel Effect Nail Polish in Emma
I hadn’t heard of this brand until Maggie herself contacted me and asked me if I’d like to try a polish and I’m so glad that she did! Emma is a pale sugary pink that borders on a lilac shade. It’s super pretty on the nails and the finish is incredibly glossy. These are toxin free nail polishes which are better for the skin.

Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
One for the dairy lovers out there, this is an eye crayon with amazing pigmentation. Milk is great as an inner corner highlight but it’s also great for makeup tutorials as you can block out brows or create very pale skin with it. I’d like to try more of these but my major bug bear is finding a pencil sharpener big enough to sharpen these!

Nyx Intense Butter Gloss in Spice Cake
If the butter in the name didn’t convince you then the cake certainly will. I don’t wear a lot of lip gloss but this is lovely, it’s not too stick and it has a very buttery and creamy texture with amazing pigmentation, this reminds me of a liquid lipstick but without the matte finish.

Viktor and Rolf Bonbon Perfume
It doesn’t smell like bonbons but it’s so much nicer. With notes of caramel, this is a beautifully sweet fragrance that is very comforting and warm in scent rather than being sickly. I use this sparingly because it is very expensive but a little goes a long way with this one!

That concludes this post, if you enjoyed it please hit the like button and please let me know in the comments if you have tried any of these products or if you have any sweet makeup items!
