Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation Review

Clinique is a brand that I haven’t really delved into much. I have tried their Daily Protective Base which I think is a really nice product but other than that I’ve not really tried anything so I was quite intrigued by the Beyond Perfecting Foundation, as usual here’s my thoughts.
clinique foundation
This product claims to be a foundation and a concealer all in one, I have a sample sachet but the full sized product retails for £25.00 which is what I would class as a high end product.

The product claims are as follows:
Lightweight, moisturizing makeup covers thoroughly without clogging pores. Skin breathes comfortably, colour stays true, even through sweat and humidity. For complete coverage, dot on all over face and blend. Use the unique applicator to spot-conceal. Oil-free.

I did find that this offered full coverage which I don’t find with too many foundations, I dind’t need concealer or powder and I did find that this also mattified my skin, I think the fact that this is oil free would mean that it would be a really good product for summer if you prefer something with heavier coverage.

Sadly, Clinique do lack in the shade department, I have previously been to a Clinique stand and none of the foundations or shades were light enough for me and I wouldn’t class myself as super pale, I do have an olive complexion and I know people paler than me, but sadly this was literally orange on me. I have here a photo of the foundation not blended into my skin and you can see a massive difference I definitely wouldn’t define this shade as Natural!
on me
(OH MY DAZE IT’S SO ORANGE!)

As you can see this is slightly very orange so this definitely it’s a foundation that I can wear, understandably I’m disappointed with this as it was otherwise a decent product but alas it doesn’t match my skin! I personally wouldn’t recommend or repurchase this.

The Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer is available here for £25.00.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and if you did please hit the like button, let me know in the comments if you have tried any of the Clinique foundations and if you found a shade that matched your skin.

Thanks for reading.

Gosh, that’s a very dark and orange colour! I don’t think I could get away with wearing a Clinique foundation either then! :O xx
