Essie Ruffles and Feathers Nail Polish Review

I love Essie polishes and I have a serious weakness for peacock greens, I’ve wanted this for ages so I was super pleased when I found it in TK MAXX for £3.99 a while ago! I don’t think a long introduction is really necessary for this post so here’s my review.
Essie’s Ruffles and Feathers is a peacock green nail lacquer described by Essie as a “Peacock Teal” this was part of the 2014 Summer Collection. As with most Essie polishes this retailed for £7.99 however, I found this one in TK MAXX for £3.99. (Winning!)
This polish has a rich pigment and only required one to two coats for maximum opacity, I personally really like the standard polish brush with the Essie polishes as the fat ones cat sometimes be a little difficult for precision.

This had a beautiful glossy cream finish and I have to say it lasted at least four days without really chipping, in the end I had to remove it for a job interview but I really enjoyed wearing this and it’s definitely a very summery colour. I like to wear this on both my fingers and toes and it has that fun, bright vibe that makes me think of holidays and sunshine.
on me
Overall this definitely didn’t disappoint it’s an absolutely beautiful polish. I’m not sure if you can still find this online possibly on Ebay and Amazon but if not I’ve found the Essence’s Rollercoaster and Maybelline’s Superstay 7Day Nail Enamel in Forevermore Green look quite similar.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and if you did please hit the like button, do you have the shade Ruffles and Feathers, what do you think of Peacock Green shades?

Thanks for reading.
