When it comes to nail polish I’m not really a glitter kind of gal, I often find that it’s incredibly difficult to remove, requires a lot of coats for maximum opacity and can just be a bit too much but when I got the Essie Nail Polish in Jazzy Jubilant I decided to give it another go for the sake of Essie, here’s my thoughts…

Jazzy Jubilant is what Essie describes as a “multi dimensional top coat”, it’s a clear polish with large flakes of confetti like glitter in a turquoise green shade, pink and silver. This can be worn alone or over the top of a manicure for added oomph, like all of Essie’s nail polishes this retails for £7.99.
Boots describes this polish as the following:
“Chromatic confetti like glitter nail varnish. Manis and pedis go from basic to breathtaking with these multidimensional topcoats, just add dazzling glamour to your favorite polish.”
I wanted to give this a thorough test so I applied this directly onto my natural nails using two coats to see how i would fare. It blends well into the nails so it’s hard to see chips which is nice, it also applied easily although the glitter is in large particles so it can be difficult to disperse the glitter, I’d recommend applying this then moving the glitter with a toothpick if you want even results. I particularly liked this as a cute twist on natural nails but I think it would also look nice in the festive season over a dark nail polish for that Christmas twist.
Overall, this is a nice nail polish but I’m not blown away unfortunately, I think I’ll pass this on to someone who I know will use it a lot more – if glitters are your thing though I’d say that this is worth a try at the very least.
