Carolina Herrera Sublime EDT Review

For years I have seen Carolina Herrera fragrances advertised, my dad even uses an aftershave by Carolina Herrera yet it’s a brand that I’d never delved into until I was sent a sample of this perfume in a perfume box, this is the Sublime fragrance and here’s my thoughts.

The sample box is incredibly cute and I quite like the gold, purple and white colour palette it’s very cute yet chic at the same time. The actual bottle has a little fabric bow which is also incredibly cute. I’m not sure how much this retails for as this is only a 5ml sample size.

The perfume notes are as follows:
Top Notes: Passionflower and Bergamot
Middle Notes: Rose and Orchid
Base Notes:
Amber, Patchouli, Leather and Moss

To me this fragrance is incredibly floral and I can smell the patchouli quite strongly, I can’t really detect amber, leather or moss but I would say that the florals are incredibly heavy, to me this smells like a white floral which isn’t my favourite scent by far.

On me this didn’t smell great at all, I found it very strong and cloying and didn’t like the combination of ingredients at all, on Rachel this softens down and smells quite sweet after several hours which must be to do with her natural scent (off topic I asked her to smell my leg and tell me what my natural scent was like…apparently I smell like a new tent which could of course influence the way this smells on me, ha!).

The longevity on this is good, it stays on for quite a long time, for Rachel and I, there was a good seven hour wear on this, which is great if you like the scent but if like me, you’re not a huge fan of florals then that isn’t great.

Overall, I’m not a fan of this fragrance at all, I wouldn’t buy the full size or recommend it to anyone who doesn’t like florals however if you are a fan of white floral scents then you will most likely like this.

The Carolina Herrera Sublime Eau de Toilette is available here for £30.95 (please note I’ve not used this website so use at your own risk.)

I hope that you enjoyed this post and if you did please hit the like button, let me know in the comments what you think of this scent if you have tried it and if not if you would give it a go.

Thanks for reading.
