Essence 3D Eyeshadows in Irresistible Summer Sea and Irresistible Purr-ple Review

When Essence Cosmetics finally launched in the UK I was so excited that I rushed out to my local Wilko to purchase some of their products and two of the products I picked up were the Essence 3D Eyeshadows. I have used these a lot in tutorials and I have been asked by a reader if I would review these shadows so here they are.
*Please note that these shadows are all swatched on bare skin with no primer

I have two of these shadows in the shades Irresistible Summer Sea (10) and Irresistible Purr-ple. These shadows come in a little bubble shaped compact with a flip up lid and each shadow has two halves, a flat paler shade and a 3D darker shade with a ripple effect. These may mind you of the Mac shadows that looked similar only these are priced at £2.80 each from Wilkinson.

Starting with the colours and both the colours of the colour payoff is absolutely incredible. Irresistible Summer Sea has a pale aqua and a darker aqua shade and Irresistable Purr-ple as a lilac and a rich purple shade with blue shimmer shot through it. Both of these eyeshadows are shimmery formulas and look stunning on the lids.

Here’s the product description:
3D duo-eyeshadow, irresistible effects and long lasting texture, apply wet for an even more intense effect.

The texture of these is really nice, these are very silky and buttery and have minimal fallout, they also feel light on the eyes and last a long time throughout the day before fading. I will wear these alone of even over a cream eyeshadow.

These can also be applied wet for an even bolder intensity which is quite frankly bloomin’ amazing. I love using these on a day to day basis and the colour range offers some lovely neutral tones as well as bold brights and smoky shades to suit any look.

Overall these are absolutely stunning and I really love these shadows, I’ll definitely be picking up some more shades and if you haven’t already do give these a try, they are amazing quality for such a low price, I’m very impressed!

The Essence 3D Eyeshadows are available here for £2.80 with more information on the official website here.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and if you did please hit the like button, let me know in the comments what you think of these and if you would give these a go.
