Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Review

I was lucky enough to receive the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer as a sample a while ago and I was digging through my sample drawer and thought that it was high time I tried it and wrote a review. As usual here’s my post.
So this is the sample I received which was enough for one use. I do like how an image of the full sized product is included on the front of the sample and think that it’s pretty clever in the fact that if you fall in love with the sample you know what the full sized version looks like so you can go and buy it.

In terms of the texture of this this does have a slight silicone feel however it is creamy a well so it’s somewhere in the middle of creamy and siliconey. I don’t think that it is as siliconey as Benefit’s Porefessional or Maybelline’s Baby Skin but it isn’t completely creamy either.

This had a kind of blur effect on my pores which I really liked. You can still see my blemishes but this is great and making them slightly less noticeable. What was the main selling point for me was that this left my skin feeling amazingly soft, even softer than when I’ve just moisturised, and it made a huge difference to my foundation application in the fact that my foundation glided on and looked flawless.

Overall I was really, really impressed with this primer and I’d definitely buy the full sized version. The Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer is available here for £25.00.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and if you did please hit the like button. Let me know what your favourite primer is and if you have tried anything from Smashbox in the comments.

Thanks for reading.
Love x
