Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Blinding Blue

Hi everyone, today I’m going be talking about a nail polish that I recently tried for spring and that is the Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme War Nail Colour in Blinding Blue. I picked this product up from a shop called The Look which is like a wholesale cosmetics store, after seeing as I’ve tried the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Nail Polish and loved it I decided to try this range, so on with the review.

As you can see it’s a larger than average bottle which I’m definitely impressed with, in the past I’ve tried some nail polishes that have been more expensive than this product and in the tiniest of bottles, I personally think that this is great value for money as you can buy it for as little as £1.80 (or |2.99) so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth.

blinding blue brush and swatch

As you can see the colour is very pigmented and it is the exact colour that is in the bottle which I’m so pleased with. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve purchased nail polishes because I loved the colour in the bottle only to find that their watery formula meant that they were an entirely different colour on my nails.

As the swatch shows the colour is very bright which is bang on trend for spring and summer, and best of all I only needed one coat to achieve this colour rather than having to build it up which I definitely like. Again as you can see from the photo the brush is a standard polish brush, this is a positive for me as the wide brushes that are in certain nail varnishes create a lot of mess on me as I have short bitten nails so this brush is much more suitable.

The colour range is very vast, there’s at least forty different colours to choose from so unlike a lot of nail polish ranges there really is a colour for everyone from bold brights, to soft shimmers, glitters and nudes. There’s plenty of shades for each standard colour too so you can choose exactly which shade of blue or purple (or any colour|) you want which is definitely a bonus.

blinding blue longevity

As mentioned above I’m a fan of the nail brush, I was also impressed with how quickly this polished dried, I don’t usually notice the drying time but it definitely dries quicker than other polishes that I have tried which is great for impatient people like me.

As you can see by the image above there isn’t an enormous amount of chips in my nails, this may not seem like a big deal but I’ve had this polish on my nails for approximately a week and there is still less chips that usual which again is definitely a bonus.

Overall I’m definitely a fan of this product and yet again Sally Hansen has managed to wow me with yet another amazing product, if you wish to view the range simply click here to visit the Ulta store which means that this product is available in the United States as well as the United Kingdom.
